Default Boring Stock sleeves?

Is it safe/recommended to increase my displacement w/out buying new sleeves or buying a stroker kit? The engine is going to be an all-motor b16a with 11:1 compression - daily driven. If it is safe to bore out stock sleeves, to what bore would it still be reliable for many miles to come? Thanks....

u should also ditch the B16 for "all motor" racing.

Read my post again......"daily driven" Not racing. I will probably boost in the future, just not any time soon (not enuf ducats). The reason I ask about boring the stock sleeves is because I want more displacement but I dont want to drop the money for a b18c. I want vtec, but frank motors are out of the question because of California's smog laws.

I would like to know too. A stroker kit is too much $$ and boring is a thought I had also.

just bore to 81.25 and replace with the 11.5 pistons of your choice.
This wil actuall just clean up your cylinder walls and not give you too much more displacement
