Default BOOST questions, help!

need to know if a car has been previously boosted. The front bumper looks original and no cuts of any sort for intercooler. If anyone knows how I can check up on something to see if it was previously boosted or non-boosted. Any info. would help, it would lead to something. Im not much of a boost person.

Also, Forced Induction won't allow me to make a thread, thats why its here.

Previous owner was in the process of doing boost. He didn't cut mount for intercooler on front bmper but he did tap the oil pan for return oil line. Any other ways I can check to see if it was boosted? Thanks

It depends how far he took it. Obviously if he took everything off, you wont be able to really tell.

Well, he told me he didn't boost it. I called him a few weeks after I bought the car, said it again. I told him yo I bought the car already and I wont go back to you. Idk..

why do you need to know? and why would it matter if he did turbo the car? are you worried that the motor is hurt or something? do a compression and leakdown test to see if the motor is healthy. if everything checks out then it really doesnt matter what was done to it previously.

The motor runs very healthy, that's why. If it was boosted, it wouldn't be running as good. So the dude might be right about being in the process for boost but didn't complete. Thanks anyway.
