whats the best way to get strongest bond between abs plastic parts?
I need to repair a bumper and bond a piece of plastic into a hole where sidemarkers go.
I know theres epoxy and other glue but I have a feeling they are not same as a piece of undamaged abs
then theres people who swear by acetone melting it together. but I think that makes it brittle and crack( unless I'm wrong)
what I'm trying to do is cover up the sidemarker holes and bond the lip to the bumper permanently so its one piece it will be reinforced on the bottom so it doesn't move but using bondo is not an option I want to make it clean and not crack in 2 weeks.

There are products, [two part epoxy's] made for bumper clips, but plastic welding is the best way.
