Default ABS Plastic?

Are the lips made out of ABS plastic going to break or are they pretty durable? TIA.

Have you ever handled a plastic spoon or knife? It is the same material.

my old oem civic lip(abs plastic) was crushed up so I just put it in the sun for about a few hours and like urethane, it eventually regain it's orginal shape. abs plastic is great for body kits.

No, OEM stuff is constructed of polyurethane. Aka urethane.

Well, the mirrors are plastic. But the sideskirts are urethane.

That's right, it is. I never thought of that. The plastic ultensils that break when you flex it hard enough, not the super flexible ones.

96-00 sedans and coupes have the same exact back bumpers. of course plastic will melt if its touching your exahust.

Actually 96-98 2dr and 4 dr mite be the same but there is a slite difference in the 99-00 2dr 4dr . The 96-98 goes in and straight down and the 99-00 goes in the n back out... its hard to explain but if u see it ull know what i mean

Well since urethane is better than ABS plastic, does anybody know of a company that makes urethane Type R or Mugen front/rear lips?
