blown h gasket or ringlands?
Tonight I had a boost spike because of my dumbass. But either way its a stock LS motor with a custom turbo kit. However, I'm just curious if I caused anymore damage than just a blown head gasket. All the coolant burnt out the exhaust and when the motor is on it idles very low. I could hold down the gas and the revs would sloooowly climb. Did I crack my rings ? I used to blow head gaskets all the time on my single cam turbo but im not sure if it would ever rev out as slow.
The lack of compression due to either the headgasket damage or ring damage can cause the motor to rev lazily and obviously not make the power that it normally has to turn the rotating assembly over.
Ah turns out to be a cracked cylinder sleeve. I pulled the head today and thats what I found. Just my shitty luck. I'm getting real tired of this. I almost don't even want to continue this hobby. All because I didnt set the back of the profec b to accept an external wastegate
verboost. I just got my car running recently too after 3 weeks of waiting to get an engine hoist so I could change my timing belt and clutch. Brand new ACT six puck too. So, after all that, does anyone have a spare b18b block for sale?

There is a Darton sleeved B18A block on Ebay right now. It is located in SD. Im sure you can locate it with a search. I jsut saw it on there today.
Thanks for looking out but I really cannot afford anything sleeved or with aftermarket rods or pistons. I'm looking for a bare block or a block with the rotating assembly. Thanks.
