Blown CV joint on a 93 Si
I was going to replace my front brake pads on my 93 civic Si. When I took the passenger side wheel off, I saw grease stuck all over my suspension and brake parts. I stuck my finger in my outer outer cv joint and sure enough it was torn the entire way around. Heres the thing, I have a drivers side drive axle with 2 good cv joints. Should I disassemble the cv joint and rebuild the other cv joint on it, or just go buy an axle? Has anyone out there ever done this before?

Save yourself the hassle and buy an axle with a lifetime warranty. This will save your valuable time from having to rebuild your axle. And if in the future this happens again, it won't cost you anything.

I build CV Axles and well it's not hard to rebuild the axles seeing that the boot ripped and you were probably driving with it like that it would be smart to get new or cut joints and put them on there or you can simply take it to an axle shop and buy one.
