Default Blowing smoke..

Hrm, so today (as usual) I notice smoke coming from my exhaust at high rpms. I just noticed it at idle 2 weeks ago, btw. I'm sure the piston rings are part of the cause, but I was confused about something.

When I got home this morning, I had someone rev my car so I could watch the smoke color. It first came out somewhat white, then went to blue and almost looked like it changed to black as the idles went back down. There's 3 colors (if it wasnt just my eyes) so I'm curious as to what it may be. There's no mily substance in the oil, and no smoke anywhere else. The plugs are a light grey color.

For reference, it's an LS/VTEC setup. I know the car needs some serious tuning as it's not making the power it should be. But recently (I think 2 days ago) I noticed it feeling VERRRY sluggish between 6k-7.2k rpms. It's like there's nothing there after 6k, then around 7000 BAM.. typical vtec beast awakens.

I'm using a V-AFC with no fuel settings, just sensor/car type and other nessicary options set. I am also using a "raw" chipped p28 ECU.

Bluish-Grey: Rings or valve seals (most likely rings)
White: Coolant
Black: Fuel

Hope this helps.

Edit- Heh, sorry I didn't read your whole post.
So you say you have all three colors? You had them exactly right, so I guess you did see them.

How many miles do you have on the engine? Could the valvetrain be bad? Check all fuel lines for small leaks. Check headgasket and oil pan.

Hope this helps.

DO you have a high flow catback that could be the problem. I have a MAC X pipe off road in to a flowmaster catback and when i hit it hard it will smoke. and if it feel's sluggesh you may need a tune up. Or may be you have loss some back pressure from your exhaust.

Well, right now I have a 2" testpipe going to a 2.25" cat-back exhaust. I know it's bottlenecked, but thats the setup how I bought it so I installed what I had. As of now, I notice that it feels like vtec is NOT kicking in. Yet my vafc shows it as engaging. I hate cars now.

Man, maybe you just need to adjust your valves.
