Default Dark Smoke at WOT

Today I had a friend following me while I was driving. I was at a light for about a minute or so. When it turned green, I gunned it to 3rd gear. When we came to a stop, he told me that I had smoke coming out of my exhaust. He couldn't really tell what color it was because it was getting a little dark outside, but it definitely wasn't white. He said a grayish color (possibly blue) and it only happened while I was at WOT.

Anyone know what's wrong with my car? Burning oil? Coolant? Do these symptoms only occur at WOT or does it also occur during regular driving?

I know this is going to be expensive.

if it only occured once at wot, dont worry about it. If your cruising or idling and its smoking, get it checked quick. coolant is more of a whitish color smoke.

May I ask what exactly makes the car put out smoke like that? Is this a normal occurance that happens on occasion?

Let's say the smoke is blue...does that mean I'm burning oil at WOT?
