Default block cracked, fixable?

Car was involved in an accident and the drivers side motor mount got pulled out of the block taking out the threads and cracking the bottom hole...
Since this block is sleeved im really hoping it could be welded and have the hole redrilled or something...
Anyone with experience with this kind of stuff with any input would be appreciated!

As long as its not cracked into a water jacket or oil passage you should be fine with having it welded and then helicoiled.. Ive done a tranny like that if you would like some pics..

I guess i didnt have any before pics but the corner had broke off and there was about 1/4 of the threads there.. I disassembled it and hot tanked it then dropped it off with the welder so i dont know what process or whether or not he heated it up.. The first pic is how i received it from the welder.. I used a electric grinder to get it flat and at the level i wanted with a straight edge.. I then used the transmission mount bracket to find where the hole should be and marked it with a punch.. I had access to a drill press so i used that to drill the hole for the heli coil but im sure it couldve been done with an air drill or cordless drill.. I then used the tap that came with the heli coil kit.. I ran the heli coil in with red loctite, some people say dont do this but i have not had a problem and this is how i was taught.. Now this tranny has been in use again with some wot shifting and running innovative 95 mounts.. I think worst case scenario for me would be the weld breaking off right where it was welded.. Maybe someone can tell me something about the quality of those welds.. Good luck with the block that would suck if the block is wasted..
