Default friend chips block installing block guard

Alright, my buddy was installing a block guard for me and ended up chipping part of my block , i have pics but im not sure how to post them.

The chips are pretty small but they're there, on the outside of the cylinder walls as well as the inside part of the water jackets on the block.

If someone could help me out and tell me how to post pics that would be great.

how badly would the block have to be chipped for it to be unusable?

There's always the possibility that the chips will lead to cracks which will cause engine failure. I would go ahead and have it sleeved.

for blockguards.

well, i had the block guard installed before i did research on them. I had one of the guys from this web site who seems to know what he's doing take a look at pics of the block, he said he's seen worse and ill be ok just as long as the inner part of the cylinder walls arent touched and nothing is sticking up to where i have to get the block decked.
