alright guys when im up in the rpm's im getting a lot of black smoke from my car i have a b18 ctr's pretty aggressive cam and im only running 240cc injectors could this be my problem my comp is high 12's low 13's any idea's

 

running rich?

 

Black smoke is from running rich, or carbon build up. If you drive a lot in the city then take it and run it hard it will blow black smoke bc of the carbon build up.

 

so could this be bad for my car. everybody i talk to says that 240's are too small with ctr pistons but tall the signs lead to running rich whats the deal with this motor

 

it could be bad if you begin to run too rich.. the 240cc's arent too small.

 

if i get a tune will that stop the car from running rich

 

you put the cams in without tuning? get your *** on the dyno and tune it. yes if you tune it correctly it wont run rich.
