Default BIG PROBLEM... Field V-SFC

Hey guys, just installed my SFC the other night. Worked fine ... until today. All of a sudden, it always says Hi-CAM. Apparently, it always thinks it's in VTEC mode. Everything else seems to work, except this. Whenever I set the VTEC point, it loses the setting. Say it's at 2000 RPM. I set it to 6000 RPM. I look at it again, and it's at 2200 RPM. REALLY weird. I can set the shift beeper and it will work, every time, at any RPM. The SFC functions seem to work. Please don't tell me it's dead...I just bought it, but it's used so I doubt there's any warranty. HEEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPP!!!

I had the same problem with mine, but it went away after I turned the SFC off, reset the ECU, turned the car on, and reset the VTEC point.

Tried that yet?

Actually, just did it last night, and bam - it works. Whew. Maybe I just didn't notice before, but I guess the HI-CAM light says on all the time, but turns red when you hit the xover point. It is now holding the setting and working right. This damn thing though - for as much as they cost you'd think they'd put a little better lighting in them. Can't see it AT ALL during the day (when I do 90% of my driving!).
