Put it in the tranny first or the hub first?

 

tranny first!!! i hope you aint a light-weight like myself cause you're seriously gonna have to push hard and straight (the set ring has to go past 2 grooves in the tranny...you'll know what i mean when you get started). don't push from the boot or shaft either, or you'll run the risk of seriously damaging you joint. you shouldn't have nearly as much trouble putting the hub side on.

 

I did the swap and I had to tap it with my hammer for it to go into the tranny and the hub. Did that damage anything? I'm already done and it drives pretty good.

Did u do it yourself or with a pal? I did it with a pal and I couldn' imaging doing it myself.
