i have a gs-r with a comewhat built head, shaved 30 thou, port and polished, 3 angle valve job, itr cams, aem cam gears, greddy evo exhaust, iceman cai, what kind of headers should i go with please help...

For full drag? And if so, just get a Hitech header and eliminate your exhaust. The exhaust will be coming out from the side. This is guaranteed 15 hp. 100 bucks per horse power though.ouch!!

If you don't have the money for something like a HiTech header, I agree with the JDM ITR 4-1 header. But, DC Sports makes a JDM 2.5" header now too..

Some people say the gains are the same but the DC Sports is way cheaper. I haven't done the research myself though..

 

what do u guys think of the greddy ss headers?

 

I got the DC 4-2-1 SS header for my 94/LS and was satisfied but For my R, I would not go anything less than a JDM 2.5". I have a Spoon 4-2-1 on the way as we speak.

I heard that DC is a good company. I Don't know if it is better than Greddy, "Geez I had their EVO catback." The catback was a good product for my LS and was built very well. But I'd stick with DC for a minor just bolt on mod header. Of course you may have other plans for the future as with FI and such so the header may be of no significance. IMHO of course!!!
