Default Best ecu to use

I am running a 93 civic si with a 98 gsr bone stock. which is the best ecu to use
please give me pros and cons

All OBD I
chipped P28
stock P72
chipped P72

And also what would push more power stock P72 or Chipped P28

Please help me out.

I'd go with the P72 if at all possible.

The P72 will maintain compatibility with the 2 stage GSR manifold and the knock sensor. This is certainly the best price is no object solution. Availibility can be a problem.

With the P28 you'll lose both the knock sensor and the ability to control the secondary runners on the GSR manifold. If you're planning to swap to a Skunk2, ITR, or JG manifold in the future that's not a problem. As to the knock sensor...well that's not much of a loss. The pros here are obviously cost & availability. P28s are much easier to find.

The P30 from the Del Sol will work too...but they're even more difficult to find than the P72.

All of these ECUs can be chipped, provided they're OBDI.
