bent valves on vtec head.
ok, i have a d15b2 block in decent shape and my friend has a sohc vtec head with a bent valve or two that he wants to sell me for 40 bucks. so im going to buy it.
is there a cheap way i can get the valves to seal up if they are not bent but just not sealing? in any case whats the cost of replacing the valves and getting it machined or whatever i need to do to get the head to produce some compression for d15 minime. thanks for any help!

i will replace the valve seals. but im talking about it sealing up on the top of the combustion chamber. i've rode in the kids car that the head came out of...so it will run on 3 cylinders, but who wants to build a motor that does that? i need the valves to seal so no compression leaks out...see what i mean?
Buy a headgasket kit, then take the head to a machine shop for resurfacing and a valve job. The head gasket kit usually comes with new valve stem seals that you give to the machine shop guy. The machine shop usually charges me around $200-220 for heads on four, five, and inline six cylinder engines.
Oh yeah, what is a D15B2?
