Default Benen industries fuel rail...

ok i need help its the last thing stopping me from starting my build...

the stock fuel line from the fuel filter isnt long enough and runs into where the throttle body is and doesn't match up with the barbed fitting on the fuel rail

basically i'm asking if anyone has had this problem (ive searched the site and came up with thousands of threads and no one in their right mind would look through all of them) so what have you done what did you use... did you send it to a shop to have them redo a stock line or have one made? cost? that sorta thing

thanks guys all help is appreciated

well if you use bulk hose make sure it is for fuel injection, there is a difference in between it and the carb rated stuff.

or you can make a line from SS braided and hose clamps or you could use AN fittings.

its not rocket science, its just a fuel line. It needs to be long enough, be able to handle enough pressure, and be rated for gasoline.

i'm actually about to jump into the exact same task as you're doing right now with my benen rail. if you would like, i can give you a 'how to', with part numbers, pictures and everything.

btw, that kit isn't going to work for him if he has a benen fuel rail, because that kit doesn't have the adaptor that is needed for the end of the fuel rail. also, the method i'll show him is still cheaper and uses earls fittings and hoses, instead of somthing else.

contact user b&R fittings, he can make you a hose with the length/material/fittings you need, prob for around $65-75
