There are two different wires running between the alternator and fuse box. One of them may have an open or short.

The white/blue lead at the alt. is what "controls" the alt. light by supplying the light with a ground, [12V+ for the light is supplied by fuse 24 - 15A, hot in run and start, it also supplies power to the alt. exciter lead, black/yellow].

If you replaced the alt. then the alt. is not the problem, the problem may be the ICU as the white/blue lead is connected, parallel, with the ICU and the ABS control unit, [if you have ABS].

Is there any way to check to see if the ICU is bad other than buying a new one?

Do the front side markers work properly, blink on when using signal lights or hazard lights, turn on when park/head lights are on, blink off when signal/hazard lights are used and park/head lights are on?
Do the intermittent wipers work?
Does the rear window defog work?
Do the warning chimes still work, [key still in ign., lights still on, seat belts]?
Does drivers door turn dome light on when opened?

If any of the above are not working it could be a problem with the ICU if more then one of the above is not working it is a good bet the ICU is bad, very common on G2s and other older Honda/Acura. 94

It does not rule out the ICU, it is still what I would want to check, you have already replaced the alt., batt. and redone the grounds, the ICU is the only other thing in the circuit that I know of.

With that said, I can't see how the batt. light staying on would cause the engine to stall, "and now im having issues with my car dying once in a while when driving" that sounds like a diff. issue.

Question...
Will it start again after "dying", if not, does the engine turn over, [crank] and just not start or will it not even turn over, [like dead batt]?

If the injectors are shutting off I would check the PGM-FI Main Relay, it is what supplies the injectors with power, the PGM-FI Main Relay is also a problem on older Honda Acura.

This may help... http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/mainrelay.html 94

hey tegman, I'm currently having a similar problem to yours. my light only comes on when I start it, but once I rev it a little bit, it goes away. I am not good at trying to diagnose this thing, so I need help....please. another thing I noticed but only happend once, was my fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail was fluctuating up and down when my tuner was trying to start it. it was going crazy. stumped and was reading this, so I thought I'd ask, thanks
