Bad idle, Tryed a million things

anything's possible, but I kinda doubt it. Did you try the water trick? Are you getting sucking noises from that area? If so... you might need to replace the IM gasket. it's a bitch to do, but at least it's cheap.

indeed they can! in fact, most do, but some more than others. i have a friend who runs a shop called RT Tuning in PA&gt; he has a smoke machine to find vac leaks. He said he commonly finds these lower injector bushing areas leaking smoke when he checks...

yeah i didn't know either the other day until he told me while talking about how the 1200 dollar smoke machine has paid for itself already through cutting down on search and destroy missions for vacuum leaks.

Its not, Air Intake Temp Sensor,

Engine Coolant Temp Sensor,

Not Air Idle Control Valve

Not Fuel Pulsation Damper.

Tryed those sensors from a WORKING Civic....

it was set once before when the timing belt jumped, but i set it a tooth off.


btw, how much * is 1 tooth on the cam?

I have used my Cam Gears to adjust the position of the exhaust Cam.
I have Advanced the cam gear about 4*.

Should i move it to about 8*?

Startup idle is smooth but low at about. 1100rpm on the Tach

so can timing cause the this problem too? cause i got the same problem, i did a mini me swap on it and and i dont know if i set my timing right. did a z6 head on a b7 block with z6 adj. cam gear. and dont know if suppose to be advanced or retarded. car runs but sometimes the motor surges.
