Hi new here. I just leased a 2015 Accord EX-L V6 and would like to install the backup sensors. My previous car had both camera and sensors and my wife would like to have the sensors here too.
I understand that it requires the sensors and attachment kit, but the dealer price is crazy. I can see the attachment kit as being different due to the wire routing and length being specific to the vehicle. I have seen a bunch of OEM sensors on eBay for a lot less. So that brings my question, is there really any difference in the sensor part (function, spacing, etc) as long as the mount style is correct? My car calls for the 08V67-T2A-130K. Can I use another part number that is the same color?
If anyone knows for sure I would appreciate your help. I don't want to pay $350-400 for the parts if I don't have to.
