Default proximity sensor question

well i just realized that rainfall will trigger my proximity sensor so my question is if there is any brand proximity sensor that won't be triggered by the rain or if they are all the same? by the way i have an asian wolf proximity sensor if that makes any difference

any prox sensor can be triggered by the rain, the trick is to properly install and adjust it, if prox is triggering the alarm because of rain it is set too sensitive or improperly installed or both.94

ok well yeah i guess i could've installed it incorrectly, seeing as how i did it myself. but i did my homework before doing it so i wanna say its installed right. reason being is that it has rained before and i never had any problems with it but now its going off even when theres any condensation on the windows so i'll try messing with the adjustment ***** and see if that helps any

How/where is it installed?
Is it a single or dual stage unit?
If it worked before and now it's giving you problems, it may be defective or it is possible the adjustment "went out". 94
