Can someone help me out with this, I tested my TPS and it was not consistent , also the TPS was causing my car if you held your foot on the pedal it would gradually drop RPM's and start running really badly and would sometimes surge as well, so if I unplugged the TPS the idle would jump up to like 1750 but it would run very smoothly, so I ordered a TPS and replaced it and out of no where now I am getting an engine light coming up (when I unplugged the TPS before and drove around I would never get an engine light) I get (2 long flashes)then (3 long and 6 short) then (6 short) then (7 short) what is going on with this thing, I even bubbled the coolant system, and still same thing , any suggestions?

for every long blink when you jump your ecu it counts as a 10..for every short one it counts as one...so like you get 2 long blinks and then 6 fast blinks that would equal 26..and that would result as code 26. and if you get no long blinks and just 6 consecutive blinks then it would be code 6....hope this helps..so from what im reading..2 long is code 20, 3 long and 6 short is code 36, 6 short and 7 short would be codes 6 and code 7
