Default b20 vtec, vtec not working

ok so heres the rundown,
my b20-vtec is more like a b20, mainly because there is no vtec engagement, the CEL flashes only at an idle, and im using a stock p2t ecu. the oil level is good...i dont know what is going on here
someone help

well, is what kinda car is it in? so i take its a SI? becuz of the p2t. hmmm well wat code is it throwing at idle? is it idling wierD?

still obd2b,
its throwing both o2 sensor codes because they werent replaced, and a random misfire code.
it idles ok, but if it idles for more than a minute or so the CEL starts to flash,

i had kinda the same problem in a freinds 97 civic w/ an LS swap and the check engine light was flashing and it end ended up being the cap and rotor button, and as far as no vtec, on any obd2 or obd1 system will not let vtec engage with any CEL's on - just my lil cents worth

i dont know why people say that. because i have my cel on and my vtec engages. cuz i can feel that ****. it engages at like 5g on a stock ecu.

thenu must be on crack or have a tampered ecu

ok i though i had this one wrapped up but i was wrong, tonight i threw a few parts, first i changed the cap and rotor, then used a brand new right out the box vtec solenoid, and checked my ignition timing, and the **** still dont work@! i really need some help on this one

could it be the fuel pressure? i dont have an ajustable fuel pressure regulator

fuel pressure isnt gonna have much to do with it because fuel pressure will either make it run lean or rich, but i'm still curious are you still throwing a check engine light and what management are you running

what about engine temp, if the therm is stuck open and you dont reach operating temp the vtec will not ingauge and will run in safe mode with cel
