b20 vtec, vtec not working

my b20-vtec is more like a b20, mainly because there is no vtec engagement, the CEL flashes only at an idle, and im using a stock p2t ecu. the oil level is good...i dont know what is going on here

still obd2b,
its throwing both o2 sensor codes because they werent replaced, and a random misfire code.
it idles ok, but if it idles for more than a minute or so the CEL starts to flash,

i had kinda the same problem in a freinds 97 civic w/ an LS swap and the check engine light was flashing and it end ended up being the cap and rotor button, and as far as no vtec, on any obd2 or obd1 system will not let vtec engage with any CEL's on - just my lil cents worth

ok i though i had this one wrapped up but i was wrong, tonight i threw a few parts, first i changed the cap and rotor, then used a brand new right out the box vtec solenoid, and checked my ignition timing, and the **** still dont work@! i really need some help on this one
fuel pressure isnt gonna have much to do with it because fuel pressure will either make it run lean or rich, but i'm still curious are you still throwing a check engine light and what management are you running
