ok, car has been sitting for a while with a fresh rebuilt motor.

i tried to turn over and fogged the cylinders to be safe, no start.


i pulled compression and it's odd


from 0 psi 100psi 100psi 0 psi

just odd i tried to put some oil in the cylinders and let it work into the rings and turn over
open to get rest of the oil out and still the exact same any suggestions?

car has been sitting for well over a year in a climate controlled garage waiting to be put back together.

not sure if rings are stuck, or possibly valves are stuck etc.

 

you check valve clearance?

 

i pulled valve cover this morning and gotta find feeler gauge.

i dont remember the clearances, man i had to have car in storage for a while
and was not able to work on while in country so almost feel i have forgotten how to do it

its crazy i fell like i'm starting over

 

Cam timing needs to be off to produce those compression numbers. Check tbelt.
