Alright guys here is my question. I recently did a rebuild on my b18b. Had the piston rings replaced and gapped to spec, bearings and seals all replaced. I had the block decked, head resurfaced and cleaned. When i replaced the valve seals i purchased them at Central Auto Parts and i noticed that the box came with 16 exhaust Valve stem seals. So i asked them why do they come with 16 exhaust when theres only 8 exhaust and 8 Intake and the Employee said they would fit. I know the intake and exhaust are both different sizes but they seemed to fit fine. The exhaust ones fit perfect but i could tell that the intake side wasn't going down on the stem all the way. So the motor has been broken in for 2,500miles so far with 200 compression across the board. But i noticed that it burn's alot of oil about 1 quart every 200 miles or so. And blue smoke comes out at wide open throttle. The question is can it be my valve seals are the wrong size? Should i go to honda and get the original ones?
bro I hope this does not happen to me. I just bought a seal kit from felpro that comes with valve stem seals, and all the seals were the same size

Yeah. Well i just ordered all 16 from honda. Not bad $70 for all of them. Since i have the head already off.. might as well put a block guard in and ARP headstud with a cometic headgasket.
I'll let you all know how it runs then.
