Default B18B swap in EG problems

I swapped a B18B1 with a P75 ecu into my 92 civic lx

Everything is fine, the car can run, except that the motor runs extremely rich...
we found out that I have two map sensors... and the two connectors seems to be working......
could it be what makes the engine running rich ??? or could it be vacuums plugged at wrong locations ???

i had the same exact problem. you dont need the map sensor that's on the firewall. use the one on the im. try takin the plug out of the map sensor thats on the firewall and plug it into the im one. you'll have an extra plug just hangin. that fixed mine. let me know if that helps

Yeah, the one on the throttle body should be used. The other connector goes to the tps I think?

not sure what to tell you then. sounds exactly like my problem and that did the trick for me. what code are u throwin?

also when i did my swap, i left the engine wiring harness from the ls on the ls motor and then connected it to the rest of the chasis harness. thats why i had 2 map sensor plugs. is that what you did??

I figured out a vacuum wasn't properly attached....
with the map sensor like you told me, the engine is running a lot smoother and no more smoke comes from the exhaust !!!
the engine is running ok now but it is spitting black **** from the exhaust...
I've never seen anything like this before

Hey man I'm not too sure if this would help you or not but check your exhaust manifold for any cracks or leaks, my d16z6 manifold cracked right above the o2 sensor where the 2nd and 3rd cylinder meet causing it to run extremely rich and spit black stuff all over my back bumper(also gave my greddy stainless steel exhaust a nice custom look). any way it ran rich but threw cel.
