b18b pcv question?
hey i got a freind that has a 95 integra with a b18b and when he bought it it was burning oil real bad so we put new rings and new valve seals and replaced bascally every gasket. after we did all that and got it running again it was still burning oil so went to replace the pcv valve and noticed that the the little black plastic housing that the pcv valve goes into did not have a hose running off of it into the black box on the back of the block. we also noticed that there is another hole on the black box. i was pretty sure that this was his problem why he was burning oil and his car was smoking badly still. would this cause the car to smoke bad? also i need to know what is suppose to be running to the other hole in the black box, i know 1 hose is suppose to run from the black box to the pcv alve but what is the other hole for, are we suppose to run a hose from that to somewhere else also. any help would be appreciated i think were finally about to figure this thing out

shake your pcv it should make ticking noise inside it. And blow air throw it it should only allow air in through one side.
I thought the pcv went to the im

Re: b18b pcv question?
i already know i can shake the pcv and i can hear it rattle it's good. the pcv valve is basically not even being used right now because there no hose runnning from the pcv valve/intake manifold to the black box but there is also another hole on the black box and i need to know what the other hole is for. there is 2 holes on the black box i know 1 is for a hose to run from the pcv valve and connect to the black box in 1 of the holes but what is the other one for
