Default ok haveing a problem with the black box again....

i need help last week the black box fell off the block and leaked oil everywhere......now my problem is on top of the black box there is a hose with a hose clamp if you are looking directly down on it u can see it on the left side of the box( on the right side is the hose that goes back up to the intake manifold) now i was boosting some on the way home and then noticed a lot of smoke, then saw oil all over my hood intake manifold fuel regulator basicly everywhere possible.....no i am wondering the hose attached to the black box has a clamp on it and it doesnt seem to have anything to clamp to...also i cant seem to understand why its not staying in teh box....maybe the hose is supposed to be sealed? if so did i break the seal....i really hope i get some quick replies b\c i am supposed to run it at the track in liek 4 hours damn i gotta get back to werk thanks in advance

That is the PCV valve. U need to lean off around there and shove that f*cker back into the black box. Oil drips there, that's why U have oil everywhere. The piece that came out should go back in as long as they're both dry. The block box side has a rubber thing that kinda holds the PCV valve in place. Just give it a little push and U should be fine.

U said 4 hours... I'm assuming you're running at Englishtown?

When U push the thing into the box, does it feel like there's resistence? Like, the piece that you're actually pushing down on is hard plastic (PCV valve). The piece that you're pushing the PCV valve into (where the black box is) should be somewhat soft. There should be a rubber piece there that kinda wraps around the PCV valve. If it's not there, it'll pop back out. Maybe that piece flew off.

Let me know what happens with that.

Maybe the PCV gromit (the piece that the PCV goes into) is shot. You can pick up a new one at your local parts store for like a dollar.
