b16b advanced timing

Default b16b advanced timing

what should i advance my ignition timing to, to get the maximum hp ? i understand how to time my car and i have the timeing gun ... i have tried 2 and 6 degrees neg, and 4 and 8 advanced so far i feel a small increase inbetween 6 and 7 thousand with the advancement ... what is safe and what do you suggest ?

you want 18 degrees advanced. no more then that. factory spec is 14

actually i dont remember where it was when i dynoed it but i had 162 hp ... and only 18 ... y not more ??? am i going to do damage ?
