aem underdrive pulleys install
i was wondering if this was an easy process. Is it possible to do by yourself? if anyone has ever done this i would like to know their opinion and also if there really is hp gained by this. How much time should it take and how difficult the install. thanks. TJ
If your talking about the crank pulley, its not worth taking the risk for the small little gains you will get from it. Search around a little and you will see that it can cause premature wear and tear on your engine. Anyways to answer your question, Its very simple to install as long you have enough torque to take the crank pulley bolt off and your good working with engines.

the aem kit does not come with a crank pulley. anyway the installation process is very straightforward if you know your way around your engine. however you will need air tools to remove/install the pulleys themselves.

I just finished putting the Aem pullies on my own car, a 1992 gs Integra.
I wouldn't take this on yourself. Find a friend who can give you help. I ended up going all over for bits and pieces I needed and even the machine shop for this task.
It was TOTALLY worth it though. The powergain is pretty nice, especially up top.
Also, these are underdrive pullies, not an underdrive crank pully.
hehe... the kit includes an alternator and a power steering aluminum pully, with belts to fit.
