Back from the Dyno, New #'s w/ question
Went down to the dyno today to see what my timing was like under 6psi & the AFC. Well, with some slight tweeks to the AFC, better gas in the tank, cooler temps, the ol f23 managed to get some pretty good numbers
Several runs were done, but the dyno above was from June and today, with today's #'s being higher. The timing as observed was about 25degrees, which I know isn't ideal, but with the f23, we all know you can't adjust the timing. What was noticed, is that the timing was automatically adjusted by the ECU, since I belive stock, timing is about 28 degrees for the f23 NA. At 10psi, timing was observed to be drastically retarded, but can't remember the exact amount.
I guess to keep this technical, does anyone know why the timing was drastically re-tarded at 10psi with the f23?
After talking to several folks at the shop, I may hold off on my plans to get the EMS, since I'm making close to what my goal was (250whp & wtq), and the setup is fairly safe as is.
