When I bought my del sol, It came with a msd ignition. I am taking that out but there were two wires( a power and a ground) that went in through the cap to the distributor. The one wire the ground, is easy to figure out and i belive that just needs to be screwed back into the distributor, but the power wire (white wire in the distributor) I have no idea where it goes.

I am wondering does anyone have a picture of the internals of a b16 distributor or could tell me what that white wire needs to go to?

i looked it up at autozone.com and its missing the internal coil which is what the msd replaced.

 

yeh, when u switch to msd, u use the external coil

 

update..coil was replaced cars runs great!!!
