Default B16A2 with auto trans?

I was thinking about doing a B16A2 swap in my 96 DX. My DX is automatic and I would like to keep it that way. Since the SI did not come in auto I was going to use the auto transmission from an integra. Now to my question, I can't use the ECU for the B16A2 eigther. What ECU would I be able to use?

Thanks

Wow, what a helpful reply. Thank you. The world is a better place now.

It's his business and he doesn't have to justify himself. There could be a good reason or it could be personal preference.

I'm not familiar with the sixth gen, but I know that an Integra auto will not fit a fifth gen. A JDM B16 auto will fit the fifth gen with some slight modification to clear one of the mounts. The JDM Civic chassis with B16 autos have a notch to clear that mount.

I also wanted to stay auto, but I opted for a SOHC VTEC with plans for turbo. The D series auto has aftermarket support from TCI, and I have the whole setup. The master racing overhaul kit, the torque converter, and the RTF. Good stuff.

i did a b-series vtec automatic swap in my brother's 93 ex. We used a 97 LS auto tranny. The ecu will not operate the teg tranny. The teg, like the accord and lude, use a TCM(transmission control module) to control the tranny's shifting. It's a whole seperate computer. I had to run about 40 wires for the TCM. Not for the faint of heart, but I'm an Electrical Engineer.

And what he said above is right, that top tranny mount is a bitch, and the big B-series automatic wants to hit the right frame rail.

If you need info, just email.

Link to the swap is here. Although I never frequent that site anymore. They're pretty cliquish and immature, kind of like high school. And the mods make all the rules and but never enforce them on each other. (i.e., Mods don't lose points when they start flame wars for no reason. In fact, there's no points system) But still there's a lot of good info on that board for people new to swaps. Read the articles. Read, read, read.

But god help you if you post a "stupid" question or differing opinion. On here, they go unanswered, but in there, you get flamed.
