we got some after market mounts but my friends crx's motor mount brackets have been modified to easily fit b18s.. the prob is he gots a b16..we put the motor in the car and the motor sits in there crooked.. any suggestions or should he just get a b18.. could we do anything except get a b18 or re-modify the brackets?? thanks in advance!!

 

What do you mean he had to modify the mounts to fit a B18. The motor mounts should fit any B series they're all the same. What did he change ? What company did you get the mounts from ? If you did get a brand name company I.E. Place Racing , HASport , etc. and just went with some crapy off name company throw the mounts in the trash and spend alittle extra money on tried and true company if you don't have them already. Also I've never heard anyone who bought B series aftermarket mounts having to change things cause it was a B18 and not a B16. It's a 5spd right ?
