Default b16a swap

i own a 96 civic. i just had the tranny replaced but my motor is ready to be replaced as well. im curious as to if a b16a will bolt up to the automatic tranny and if i need any other hardware to make the job work. also, will the stock civic ecu be compatible with this engine. thanx

A B16 will not bolt up to your transmission. The two are of different series of motors. B-series (B16, B17, B18, B20) and D-series (D15, D16-your current motor), are not compatible amongst each other parts wise. Also you would need the B16 computer to properly operate the motor.

Just convert to manual it's not that hard and it'll be way better in the end.
