Default B16A oil cap pressure?

i installed my B16A and i notice that when its running, if i remove the oil filler cap and put my hand above the hole, there is a definate pressure because i can feel quite a bit of air coming out. is this normal? my friend said he thought it meant blown piston rings, but he wasnt sure. i guess i dont remember this on my old motor but then again i never checked. i just want to know that my motor is ok.

thankyou!

dude!

your engine is probably fine!!

it is normal for an internal combustion engine to have crankcase pressures, it is from the pistons moving up and down inside the block and should be a NET pressure of ZERO

ie some coming in and some going out,

try placing your palm over the hole to see if it gets blown off?

if not, it seems to be normal.

anyone back me up on this?

t..

this reminds me of the time well maybe I should'nt say it oh well.

when I did a oil change and for some stupid reason forgot to put the cap on and I hear this load noise coming from the engine bay I'm like WTF so I turn off the car olny to see a bunch of fresh oil coming from you know where.
