Default b16a emisions and other problems

hey whats up guy's ??? took my car to the emissions testing center today and here are the results

failed: the gas cap test (which is retarted cause i have a new universal gas cap)

failed: pressure test (wtf)

failed: evap componets-hoses.. this is one of the main things ... i was wondering if anyone had a intake manifold diagram becouse i have alot of un-hooked vacuum lines.. but dont think i have a vacuum leak .. i think most of the ones that are un-done are ones for pollution control or something to that sort.. please help!

ok now for the inspection results... i dont know how other sates do it but this is arizona's scale

failed: hydrocarbon in grams/mile max is 1.00 and i had 3.25 ...haha

failed: carbon mononide in grams/mile (this is the big one) max is 12.00 and i think i set a all time record with 56.59 lol

failed: oxides of nitrogen in grams/mile max 2.50 and i had 2.56 (not bad)

anways they said that the hydrocarbons is high becouse of miss fire'n or timing advancement or retardation (is that a word??) anyways miss fire

carbon monoxide is 5 times as much beouse my cylinders are flooding out ... why ... i have factory injectors .... i think i am just going to get a fpr and turn it down a **** ton.. as far as mods i just have a intake and muffler ... factory crappy exhaust (wanting to get better exhaust untill after i pass emissions) and a supra cat and a supra muffler..... so back to the main question... why is my car flooding out ?? could it be cam timing or what ??? any ideas .... and if anybody has a diagram of the IM please please post a link or pic, or email it to me @ driftdreams@hotmail.com .... thnaks in advance...Rick

i am having the same problem as you. i tested pretty damn bad and failed on the same tests as you did. i have narrowed it down to these things:
(just my opinion though)

-O2 sensor
-catalytic converter
-misfire (could be the problem, especially if you are failing these things at idle)
-ignition, i.e. spark plugs, wires, and distributor
-timing could also be a factor

in my experience though, a FPR and cam gears are ILLEGAL and any ref who knows what he is looking for will fail you

i know for a fact they are illegal in california and im pretty sure its the same law around the country. on the packages that the fpr's and cam gears come in it says "for off-road use only". only my best guess though.
