Default b16a da problem

ok i ended up getting a obd0 pw0 ecu, the problem im experiencing is when it crosses over vtec it starts bogging, it was doing it worse so i raised my fuel pressure to 50 it kinda fixed it. any ideas what the problem would be? i would like to leave it obd0 because im going for a xsi replica.

Heard of similar cases of a faulty plug wiring shorting out when vtec crosses over?

I mean it could happen. Maybe you were touching the battery at the same time. I know that shock probably scared the crap outta you huh? Maybe your coil in the distributor is shorting to the case Have you checked the coil or ignitor? Ohm them out in the distributor and out and check for any shorts to the case.

swapped the wires havent checked the dizzy yet didnt have time today, i also noticed when i wot it misfires around 5k+ with and without vtec engaging (unplugged it) but if i give it partial throttle it crosses over fine and does not misfire... im stumped, im worried if i convert to obd1 (which i really dont want to do because i want to keep it obd0) it will do the same. any input would be great! thanks
