Hey, im havin the same problem with my LS, (OBD1) it bogs at 3 Grand, and hits rev limiter in all gears... it starts rough, but idles at 1100, 900 or 600 rpms. i tried a new ecu and still did the same thing. it runs pretty rich. i've heard 02 sensor and map sensor but i really dont know whats wrong. let me know what i can do thanx
I fixed mine yesterday, what i did was take the throttle body off and clean it, cleaned some sensors(let me know if you want some pics of were there at) and made sure the plug wires were in the right order, which they were, i then looked in the plugs to make sure that it would "suction" down to the spark plug, but one of the plug wires (the metal peace inside) was pushed in to far where it wouldnt reach the spark plug.
I dont think cleaning the sensors did to much, but buy new plug wires, and spark plugs and see what happens.

yea i just changed the wires like 1 month ago and the plugs like 3 months ago so i dont think thats the problem. if you could get me the pics of the sensors that be great! thanks
Im not sure if cleaning these helped, but my mechanic told me to do it anyways. i also cleaned the throttle body.
then today i was going to check the distributer cap and rotor, and the guy explained that the rotor puts a type of "film" on the the connecters inside the cap that u can just scratch off. so try that to and make sure that ur rotor isn't warped or anything.

it might work it might not, so let me know. peace
