The second generation JDM B16a came with higher compression than the first gen's 10.2:1 - right?

What is the difference between the two generations......domed pistons, smaller combustion chamber or a thinner head gasket?

older b16s had pr3 pistons while newer ones had p30 pistons which have a bigger dome
