hey guys... i just got my top end torn down b/c its inneed of new head gasket, valve cover gasket, cam seals.... i was just wondering if anyone knew the tork specs for the head studs, cam bearings im asuming have to be torked a certain amount.. correct me if im wrong though. and anything else when i go to put the head back on.. thanks HT
You need access to an FSM or manual.
There's torque specs and a tightening sequence on heads. Sorry but I don't have that info lying around to post up or I would. I don't have time to post at work either or I would. Get your hands on a FSM, it's a good investment if you plan to continue doing your own work.
And no, I don't know where you can get one. Try Ebay?
