Default b16 Overheating HELP!!!!! :'(

After I swapped my Edelbrock IM for a skunk2, my car overheats within 5 minutes of warming up. So far I've replaced my Thermostat with a Failsafe and drained/flushed/burped the coolant.

Circulation seems to be fishy, I filled the reservoir with pure water, and added a mixture of coolant/water to the radiator filler. None of the coolant is making it's way into the reservoir. Both radiator hoses ARE getting extremely hot though. All hoses are connected in their proper places. I'm running out of ideas guys.. HELP!!

ps. the car was driven hard and working fine the day before I swapped the manifold.

Make sure there are no leaks and note that you may have to continuously fill the radiator with the car running for some time in order to get all of the air out.

make sure that the radiator cap and that little plug on top of the thermostat is loosened and that the temperature selector on the climate control is switched all the way to hot when you bleed the cooling system.
