there are seals inside the injectors too that can go bad with the wrong fluid, they make an injector cleaner thats a can that you hook up to your fuel rail and let your car run that fluid as fuel at high pressure which is supposed to work. The best way is to just send them off to injectorperfector or one of the other cleaners for 15 per injector, which is about what youd pay for that cleaning kit

dude i work at honda and i freaking pull them off and clean the injectors with the carb cleaner that was made by honda... but to me i think the carb cleaner at advance is the same crap honda is just charging like $10 for a can and advance is charging $2...

but now we have a bottle with a line you hook up to the manifold and let the car run for about 15mins while the bottle is sparying in the cleaner it acutally works cause i did it to my car... than i pulled my injector and head off like 2days after... so you could just go to the local honda dealer or maybe any other dealer that might have a fuel injection and combustion chamber cleaner..

I work @ Tire Kingdom, and we have almost the same stuff. Everwear makes it, and its a 3 step cleaning process. You put an injector cleaner in the gas tank, and it actually cleans the fuel tank, makes the water soak into the fuel, so it is burned off (which actually works as an octane booster). Another bottle goes in the crankcase, and cleans out all the deposits, and helps to restore the engine, and also has a chemical called PTFE, which reduces friction. Then we take an "iv drip (like in the hospital)" line, and hook it up to the intake manifold at the point closest to the throttle body, and that actually cleans the gunk out of the intake manifold, and combustion chamber. In the end, you have clean gas, clean injectors, a clean crankcase, a clean manifold, 3 more mpg, and a few more hp. It works great! It'll also help pass emissions. They've had cars fail emissions, run our cleaning system, and pass with flying colors...it wasn't even close. I've done it to my car, and I love it!

EDIT: The only drawback is the price...its $89. I'm lucky I only have to pay $15, cause I work there
