B16 Distributor problem

B16 Distributor problem

My b16 distributor is missing the little spring that goes in between the stock internal coil and the distributor cap. My question is, will the dizzy still work at least for a couple of months?

go get a spring out of a bic pen, It worked for 3 months on a friends car till he gor a new coil

ya cuz in 3 months i will probably have msd sci. i just want to get this ls/vtec project off the ground as quick as i can.
