I've seen two cars here locally have this same issue. Both times the passenger's side axle was stuck, requiring rediculous amounts of force and effort to get the axle out. When AutoTech was contacted about this problem, they responded saying that they had fixed the issue, so maybe the newer units are ok?

 

The newer ones are OK, yes, but I JUST had it installed and just put the tranny in, not only will it waste my time pulling it, but will waste more money as well.
