Passenger side is always the hardest. If you have to pry on it super hard with a pry bar then something is wrong. I had trouble getting mine off with just a 10" screwdriver but a 12" pry bar it came free easily. The trick is to rotate the half shalf a little bit at a time and try to pry it off, if it doesnt come out, rotate more and try again.

try this...stick a pry bar or something in between it. Then get a fork (try and find one with the highest pitch possible), so now hopefully the fork just barely fits...but make sure it does fit. Now hammer the fork in. The wedge on the fork should give the axle plenty of what it needs to pop off. Try this little at a time while spinnining the axle. I'm thinking the ring on that axle probably is stuck for some reason. Hey, maybe it'll work and no new tranny! Otherwise...well you tried!

Yea do what they guy above said or you could also find a big flat head and hammer it in between the axles housing and tranny.

i have had a similar problem, but my axle was stuck in my intermediate shaft. dude i seriously tried everything(like went to the local fire station where my buddy worked, and tried the jaws of life on that bitch. didnt budge, just cracked the shaft)

so the problem is that the splines/teeth or set ring of the axle has gottin all fuc#ed up in there, your tranny is still good, but you will never get that piece out

so just unattach it at the boot if you can

i did unatach it at the boot, and took the new axle apart tryed to stick them togher only to find out there bearings where diffrent, i switched the old bearings to the new axle and it fit it, but it dont have all the movement it should. i think im gona stick the old axle back togher and put it in, i guess i can deal with clicking for awhile untill i can get it fixed.
