Default autometer A/F guage question

why is it sometimes that only 1 LED is lit up, and then sometimes like 5 of them are lit up, and then when I go WOT like 1/2 the damn gauge lights up?

Air/fuel gauges are most accurate at WOT... Therefore you are getting an okay reading...

Mine Autometer A/F does that. I think of it like this:

Idle-Not much air moving through, so only 1-2 bars. Everything is calm and it can read.

WOT-LOTS of air going through, LOTS of readings coming in from the 2 o2 sensors (on my b16a). I get like 5-6 LED's going all over the green area when I'm WOT.

When cruisin, I usually have 3 up sweeping back and forth through the Stoich area. Guess it's normal.

check this company. http://gadgetseller.com/gauges/
they modify the gauge to be more accurate at WOT (open loop mode)
