Auto won't shift at the right point! PLEASE HELP!

my automatic shifts at 7500 when i floor it when it's supposed to be shifting at 6800 i'm wondering what the problem is? and how to fix it thank you.

i'm pretty sure the speedo is off about 2mph but i thoguht that was normal cause my friends is like that but his is fine.

I't might be something wrong with the VSS or tach signal. Does the speedo read properly? It could also be a problem with the valve body of the transmission but like I said above, i really don't know jack about automatic trannys. a cheap solution you might try is flushing the trans and putting new fluid in.

To adjust the shift points on an automatic transmission you need to adjust the throttle pressure cable to the transmission. More slack = earlier shift points and less slack = later shift points. Note : some later model Honda/Acura transmissions are completely electronic and use the TPS signal to choose shift points. If you have a cable from the throttle body to the transmission, then you have the option of adjusting it.
