Default Auto tranny slips when cold

My buddys mom has a 99 accord w/auto tranny. Just recently its started slipping....it only dose it when its cold, once it warms up it quits. She had it serviced but it didnt seem to help. Any help would be great

I'm not too sure but, off the top of my head, that generation of Accords have an extended warranty coverage for the auto tranny. If you can't get a dealer to help you fix it, call up American Honda and complain. Every customer that complains pretty much gets a new HONDA reman tranny with no or little deductible.

Exactly what I was gonna say. I was a Honda tech for 5 years so I have first hand experience!
