assembly lube?
Actually some people use gear oil because it is so thick that it clings to the bearings until you get your oil pressure at the first start-up. I use something called Moly Assy Lube. Its like a black paste. Turns your oil black the first time. I like to spray WD-40 on the cyl. walls at the first start as it is so thin that it helps seat the rings quicker.
i use the no-smoke treatment the sell at the parts store. motor-honey, bardahl's no-smoke, its all the same. its sold in a clear bottle and looks like honey. extra thick oil that clings to the bearings etc and protects during the first start up
